Forming a healthy weight loss diet plan

Here's a little secret - I was once fat. It wasn't like the obesity alarm bells were ringing just yet, but I knew I had to lose weight, and I knew, from bitter previous experience, that weight loss programs made me miserable, and ultimately they hadn't worked for me. But this time was different, with my fitness getting progressively worse I was beginning to stop doing many of the things that I enjoyed. I needed a healthy weight loss diet plan, that would make me a healthier person, keep me out of a weight loss surgery, and also not make me so miserable I was unbearable to be around.
I started reading about nutrition and exercise, and then put together a meal plan that included was based on healthy food, but always had something I liked in every meal. That is so important. You might have heard of the atkins diet, the south beach diet, or the herbalife weight loss program, or things like hoodia, but let's be honest. We know roughly what we should be eating, we are just a little lazy when it comes to preparing stuff. We know a hamburger and fries is going to make us fat, while a salad is going to give our body the fuel that our body needs. But hamburgers are much easier to make. Heck, you don't even need to make them - they cost practically nothing. So what you need to do is look at the products that you should be eating and think about how you can make them more appetizing to you, and look at the stuff that you shouldn't be eating, and think about how you can reduce your craving for them. One thing I found very useful was weight loss products that surpress your appetite. That took care of the sudden craving for fries. Then I could make our evening meal a social occasion, still fitting in with my meal plan, but by taking the focus off instant hunger gratification I could eat the right food and enjoy it more.
With my healthy weight loss diet plan working so well, I knew I had to take care of the other part of the equation - exercise. I've read a lot about how to lose weight with fat burning exercise, but it will take a lot ot ever convince me anyone enjoys running on a treadmill for 45 minutes every morning. Going for a walk in the park however is much more pleasant, and it's an effective weight loss exercise. I have a dog called Case, and I used to exercise him by smacking a tennis ball as far as I could and waiting for him to bring it back. Now we exercise together, and combined with the healthy weight loss diet plan I talked about above I am in the best shape I have been in since High School. The weight loss products that suppressed my appetite are no longer needed. They have done their job and now my healthy life style is such a strong habit that the enjoyment I get from what I eat and the exercise I do is all the motivation I need to stay on track. Well, that and the fact I can look in the mirror and smile at the person I see looking back.
